Queixas contra crédito consignado crescem durante pandemia
As reclamações sobre crédito consignado aumentaram 60% durante a pandemia de coronavírus. Ao mesmo tempo, concessões de empréstimos consignados a beneficiários do INSS (Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social), que tem juro mais baixo do mercado e desconto direto da folha de pagamento, registrou crescimento de 25%.
Segundo o Procon de São Paulo, de janeiro a junho deste ano, foram registradas 1.760 reclamações, enquanto que no mesmo período do ano passado o número era de 1.190. Já o valor total de novas operações contratadas por aposentados e pensionistas passou de R$ 37 bilhões, em 2019, para R$ 46,1 bilhões, neste ano, de acordo com o boletim mensal de Estatísticas Monetárias e de Crédito do Banco Central.
